Zoom Roundtable for Micro Publishers and Small Presses

The Association of Book Publishers of BC (ABPBC) invites our regional small presses and micro publishers to an informal roundtable to discuss their specific industry issues and to provide a platform to share resources.

Date: February 23rd, 2023, 2pm-3:30pm.

This 90-minute discussion, facilitated over Zoom, will cover:

1. Resource sharing (staff/contractors/interns, office space, warehouse space, distribution support)
2. Co-publication opportunities
3. Cost sharing opportunities (freight rates, other collective opportunities)
4. How can ABPBC better support small presses

*Small presses publish on average 10 or fewer titles per year. A micro-press can be defined as a publisher that produces chapbooks and other books on a small scale (e.g. 50 copies of one book per year). Registration is free and can be done through our Eventbrite page here
