Back for the first time since the inaugural BC Book Publishing Conference in 2020, Books BC is delighted to host this day of professional development, networking, and celebration for leaders in our industry at our awards night. Our guest speakers and panelists are a mix of Books BC’s members and professionals from the wider Canadian and international publishing communities, and we are confident that staff from all publishing departments will come away from the conference with new ideas and perspectives!
- The conference itself will run at SFU’s Harbour Centre with breakfast, lunch and snacks provided.
- Books BC’s Awards Night to honour the Jim Douglas Publisher of the Year and the Gray Campbell Distinguised Service Award recipients will take place starting at Steamworks BrewPub. Your ticket to the conference includes admission to the awards night, where refreshments will be served.
- The SFU Publishing Program will be hosting the Gregory Younging Conversation during the afternoon, which will be part of the conference programming.
